Zero telemetry is tricky. I do not believe there is much to Minecraft telemetry outside of plugins/mods sending semi-anonymous usage pings out every once in a while (which can generally be disabled per-plugin)

In terms of open source servers, that's also complicated. Both Fabric and Paper are developed open-source, but both rely on a bit of a technical legal loophole. Rather than distribute proprietary Minecraft assets, they download the Minecraft server from Mojang on first run and modify it using their open source code.

IDK how familiar you are with the Minecraft plugin/mod scene, but both Paper and Fabric are great but different.

Paper is leaner by default, but only supports server-side plugins, which have limits but mean that just about anyone can hop straight into a paper server without having to spend hours configuring clients. Generally paper servers have a more "vanilla" vibe with options for QOL improvements.

Fabric mods can run on the server, the client, or both, depending on what is being done. Generally, visual updates are client side, optimizations/QOL fixes are server side, and new assets need to be run on both, but there's a lot of exceptions to those generalizations. With Fabric you can turn Minecraft into something completely different if you want. The downside is if someone does not have the right mods installed they likely can't join your server.

Can you install user apps (which don't require admin elevation) or is it truly nothing?

Firefox, for example can be installed as a user by just declining the admin prompt.

Otherwise you can snag a portable version.

May also be worth checking if the company maintains a list of approved software anywhere. Firefox probably won't even raise an eyebrow, but other software might, depending on your use.

One key factor for wildlife bridged is they need to be quite a bit wider than regular bridges. This one is almost square spanning 8 lanes of freeway.

The extra width is critical for wildlife because they have to perceive it as normal terrain, with dampened road noise, and it needs lots of ways to feel like you can sneak through otherwise no one would use it because they would feel too exposed.

Forgive me, I'm not a Brave power user, so I don't recall. Does Brave have anything resembling uBlock's "Element picker mode" and "User rules" to make it easier to build and test blocking rules?

I maintain my own block list on codeberg and it would be a pain in the ass to have to work outside the browser, push to git, and force sync the browser just to refresh and find out if something worked.

Yes.

uBlock at its core is really just a scripting system for replacing CSS content using certain rules.

The most common usage is to remove content you don't like, but really it can manipulate things in a zillion different ways, many of the more advanced features are only available to the user and not larger block lists for security reasons.

At worst, it's just fine (Mozilla just uses it internally to replace or supplement its old and incomplete Tracker Blocking system, which never gets the same scrutiny).
