I'm a bit optimistic as this time it doesn't look like they're just churning out another RE movie to continue to keep the IP of the franchise, and it's actually being treated as a "mainstream" production with a well-known director among other things. It doesn't feel like a cheap B-movie like every other RE film in the past.

.zip has a hands-off policy and gives users autonomy to block whatever they like. They do not take it upon themselves to block or defederate on behalf of everyone else. That’s why us lemm.ee refugees moved to .zip, because of similar instance policies. Also, the admin is great at maintaining the instance and provides regular updates.

It is! I was originally from lemm.ee because the admin was cool and had a hands-off approach by giving users autonomy to block instances they don't like, instead of taking it upon themselves to block stuff on behalf of everyone else. Then .ee closed down so I moved to lemmy.zip because the admin has similar instance policies. Then piefed was born, so I just moved to .zip's own piefed instance. Everything has been smooth sailing so far.

I vote for moving to piefed! Either the flagship instance (.social) or .zip. I was originally from lemm.ee because the admin was cool and gave the users autonomy to choose the instances to block, instead of taking it upon themselves to decide on behalf of everyone else. Then .ee closed down, so I moved to lemmy.zip because the admin had a similar policy. Then I moved over to their piefed instance (piefed.zip) because piefed was the new cool kid.

My experience has been great so far. And piefed has flairs! We can do team flairs.

I was too glued to the game I forgot to comment here lol. But anyway, Spurs are showing their maturity and adaptability these past 2 games. But of course, you can’t keep doing that (being down bad in the first half and surging ahead in the second). That’s not gonna work against teams like OKC.

Wemby was kinda holding back in the first half, probably afraid of getting concussed again, which is totally understandable. But dude went all out in the second, defensive masterclass. And Fox finally showed up.

Spurs need to wrap this up next game so they get more time to rest.

Obviously I’m a Spurs fan lol.

Agreed. The other problem is that the show hinges only on one single mystery/plot, which they obviously can’t reveal until near the end. They don’t have anything else to work through and solve. So the longer the show goes, the longer it drags. S2 already started to show that. And since it looks like S3 isn’t the last season, I expect it will be the same as S2, where nothing much really happens.

IMO, they should’ve concluded it in 2 seasons.

If you’re at home, set up pihole or use an content-blocking DNS on your router. But then if you’re home, you should be using a personal device for non-work stuff. There are also a bunch of alternative (and some sketchy) front-ends for various websites.

I’ve honestly given up on getting around corporate controls and just completely separate personal stuff from work devices, especially nowadays when companies are going full big brother because of people using AI tools/agents and the chances of someone accidentally uploading stuff that shouldn’t be out there is getting increasingly common. So they are locking down stuff more and more, and increasing monitoring/surveillance.

Holy shit I never really noticed I can’t turn my iphone upside down lol. My first gen iPad rotates at any direction, but I’m guessing tablets behave differently. I don’t own a more recent tablet so I don’t know if that’s still the case. But you’re right, I remember my first smartphone could rotate at any direction.
