Ozark County teacher terminated, charged with having sex with student

Victoria “Tori” Fowler, 30, of Caulfield, has been indicted by a Howell County grand jury with three counts of statutory rape and one count of statutory sodomy in connection with allegations of an inappropriate romantic and sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student she met while she was employed as a teacher at the Bakersfield School District last year.

Bakersfield Superintendent Dr. Amy Padgett said that she could not comment on past or present personnel matters, but she said that the school takes reports seriously.
