Does Linux have an equivalent to "Compress contents to save disk space" from Windows? I don't need it to save space, just please read the full post before commenting.

Final edit: With the help of the users who were willing to help me. My solution for this is to use BTRFS and to make sure that it's formatted with both compression enable and options to maximize free space. This seems to work great as I have a 128MB SD card that seems to now be able to hold almost 250MB worth of files and they load faster than they could with ext4.
