time not working on i3bar

I triedtztime local { format = "%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S" hide_if_equals_localtime = true } And

tztime la { format = "%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S %Z" timezone = "America/Los-Angeles"

But time doesnt appear on the i3bar. Can anyone help me?
