Does anybody else remember when Karl Marx drove a tank over a bunch of landlords?

I think that they were protesting the deprivatization of their apartments. He purportedly told them ‘We shall see then that that which determines the magnitude of the value of any landlord is the amount of labour socially necessary, or the labour time socially necessary for his destruction’ before squashing them.

Did this happen or am I just imagining things?
