  • Any #XMPP-based solution. Check out Snikket.

  • Housing market crash of 2008 anyone?

  • it’s still useful to be able to dictate fiscal policy.

Very much so. People forget that the Euro comes with strings attached.

  • I'd rather have currency sovereignty. The euro is cute if you're a large country in the "free" trade region that supports it... otherwise it just means local produces unable to compete with scale economy and the slow dismantling of your country's production and transformation into a services country. Yay europe. But let's blame China instead.

  • Got the same model a few years back, got more than 100 000 km on it so far, though 16 countries.I have no plans to sell it.

  • I know gitgithub.com.I also know legal jurisdictions play a role in life, especially lately.Thankfully the license is permissive and i've been preferring freenginx, but i was curious to know others' opinions.

  • Pretty much.

  • Canonical might be in London but it's just a UK version of Red Hat as far as i'm concerned. That's why a lot of people don't like Ubuntu.

  • True, but if there's some sort of legal body representing it, like a foundation or something, then the distro is legally bound by those country's laws.
