I have no idea how that would be considered progress. The population of the USA is armed to the teeth already. Giving the same people the role of the defender of the government sound a lot like self-justice or mob-rule.
Bei der Mentalitätsreform könnte CL doch mit gutem Beispiel vorangehen und seine Mentalität grundlegend reformieren - und aufhören alles mögliche zu torpedieren was dazu führen würde, dass es Menschen besser geht.
Das meinte ich nicht primär. Ich wollte eher darauf hinaus, dass eine ganze Generation, oder schon fast die zweite(?) mit der convenience von erschwinglichen Streaming aufgewachsen ist und der Tausch (egal wie) nicht mehr so beliebt ist.
Wir haben damals noch CDs und USB sticks ausgetauscht. Ich denke das passiert gar nicht mehr. Zumindest nicht für Musik.
Wenn es um das "physische" geht: wenn ich mir die Entwicklung der Warez und Streaming Szene angucke glaube ich auch nicht, dass die jungen Generationen dort aktiver sind.
Wenn die Labels wirklich so schlecht daran verdienen würden, würden sie Spotify sterben lassen. Immerhin müssten sie dann ja, wenn die Geschichte stimmen würde, mehr Geld verdienen als jetzt.
Tun sie aber nicht. So schlimm kann es also nicht sein.
Könnte daran liegen, dass sie durchaus wissen, dass Spotify Musikpiraterie de-facto obsolet gemacht hat - und die Leute nicht bereit sind mehr für Musik zu bezahlen. Sie haben also die Wahl zwischen Spotify Leben zu lassen, oder weniger zu verdienen als sie es jetzt tun.
Social media fatigue is slowly getting traction. I don't have an article or study at hand to back it up, but I read about it the other day. Especially in younger generations it's a trend already.
Also, but that's only my personal theorie, i think it's a trend only among the less-hateful people. Hateful people nonstop spewing their vile messages everywhere is making "normal" people leave, which then turns off even more "normal" people.

Unfortunately it's easier (say: cheaper) to make driving so expensive and hard that it makes public transport look like the carrot, than actually making public transport more attractive so it actually becomes the carrot.
