Mm ne da geh ich nicht mit. Wenn es darum geht den Gesamtverbrauch zu reduzieren dann gibts doch viel bessere Stellhebel. Mehr Homeoffice, Flüge begrenzen (Kurzstreckenflüge streichen zum Beispiel), Kreuzfahrten einschränken, etc…

I kind of agree with you, however there will be big challenges in regard of transport (almost everything will get more expensive, airfreight will come to a halt, etc)
Regarding the second point… the offer from Microsoft is good for 12 months. The Apple software does not expire. Sure, the support will end in about 7 years, but that’s a completely different story
