  • Buckarooos buckle up.

looks to be a clean ferment :)

  • Salt ocean water cold swims.. no shower.

    Free too.

  • No wonder you're so youthful I swore there was a secret.

  • Owch to the face :(

I might ferment these outside knowing my luck.

  • Hrmm well that doesn't sound too umm.. bad..

    Buckle up I guess lol.

  • Starting the hot sauce ferment today eee.

This should be wikkid hot (and hopefully don't get botulism).

  • where are we throwing hands?!

Very much in the air lol.

  • The more i learn about MILs the more I'm happy about not having one lol.

  • Heading down the beach for another breather.

Got ol' girl from 42kg to 45 after that silly japan trip hunger strike. Moving away (at least slowly) from intervention for now. That was close though. Still one emergency away from a serious problem.

I've had to lie about what I'm putting in to food (basically doubling down on protein / ensure). When you say what you've done down the sink... Don't say anything.. "oh this is the best one yet". Mind boggles.

I've given up with gentle suggestion doesn't work too frustrating.

Was blamed last night for that weight loss, half a world away. That can get in the fkn bin.

So heading down, gonna start the chilli ferment which I'll bring some to the next DT gathering (if I'm invited, that vodka doesn't drink itself).

  • Better than what I get. Just coinslots, yelling, eye of the tiger on repeat and angle grinding rebar at 7am.

  • Agree with the witch.

Used to work in hospo. Waitstaff have their own way. If it's a big table with some hard to reach spots then just chuck the used dishes somewhere easier to reach on the table but not on the counter (every place is different though).

  • That's awful.

  • Thank you chef!

  • Chicken 65 pls chef.

  • Successful dins w/ SILs fam last night thankfully. They're a great bunch. All differences put aside w/ bro and sil last night (but for how long).

Brought some chillies along just to pseudo flex. When in indo (where they're from) a few years ago for bro and sils's wedding they were saying indonesian chillies are hotter than australias. Hold my beer. Chillies don't care about borders. Had to ask the wait staff for some milk for them lol.

But the language barrier and how universal humour is, is fascinating.

Turns out sil's aunt is sort of a tycoon, owns a shitload of property over there and offered a free round trip crashing at her places which is something wild to consider (and I am heh).

Wildest thing though was that aunt's kid (20 something) is a DJ and showed me some vids of the parties they throw there (and not in a tourist town). The things I go to here are way more tame than that. I honestly thought indo party scene would be far more conservative.

    Not the case.

The more I learn about that culture the more confused I am (in a good way).

  • Back in melbs. bit of a packed vline but no one sat next to me (again). I must be ugleee.

  • Thank you chef :)

  • A marathon dim sim, steamed, cut in half and cooked face side down on the grill part of the bbq the way gods intended pls chef.
