  • How about getting over the sex of the politicians and just voting based on their programs? Too strange?

  • My guess is that they will what any other city council would do. I don't think being all-female will suddenly change their politics. While it's an interesting fact I would say that expecting all-female council to govern differently than other councils is a little bit sexist.

  • Americans: USA is the greatest country in the world. Behold our God given rights and freedoms! We're number 1! We're exceptional! U! S! A! U! S! A!

Europeans: Actually it's pretty arrogant to think your country is so much better than all the other. All countries have flaws and strengths. For example USA have problems with gun violence and healthcare.

Americans: How dare you make fun of our national tragedies! Can't you see we're suffering here? You're making fun of dead children! You MONSTERS!!

Not that's a meme. Which template should I use?

  • Sadly only the tiny part actually interacting with foreigners online realize this and even they react with anger.

  • It's like you read whatever you want to read, right? No matter what I say you will always see the same comment. I think it's time to get out. Internet broke you a bit.

  • Who's saying that? Who's we? I think you're confusing mentioning something with endorsing it.

  • Why Americans are suddenly so touchy about their school shootings, obesity and healthcare?

  • Who's advocating for it?

  • I'm just saying that the "fascist" parties in Europe are no more "fascist" than American right wing parties. People support right-wing parties for different reasons. Calling it dumbassery is weird.

    Why so sensitive?

  • Give credit where credit is due: US managed to create extremely stable system. So stable it took a bloody war to alter it the only time it was done. So stable it's now dysfunctional and impossible to fix. So stable it will still be there even after the country dissolves into a dictatorship.

  • The fascist parties that want to stop immigrants on the borders? Remind me who was the previous president in US and who's controlling the house now...

  • In 1980 but that's not the point. I'm not arguing who's right or wrong here. I'm saying that neither party will benefit from compromising. The bases are to entrenched and politicians are not willing to sacrifice their careers over this. If you disagree I happy to hear you out but so far you're arguing against something I didn't say.

  • This is not about supporting one party or another. This is about the two parties working together and some politicians helping Americans over their careers. Working with Democrats will be seen as treason by republican base and helping Republicans avoid chaos won't move any voters to Democrats. When shut-down happens they can just blame one another which is the best scenario for both parties.

  • Last time I was checking out laptops Slimbook looked really good but I eventually just got desktop Vant (which also has nice laptops).

  • Where did you get the 'to get there safely' part? The story I saw said that the reason was unknown. I understood that it was some kids that decided to annex some other buildings and broke through the walls of the synagogue against the wishes of the elders. Insane story overall.

  • This would benefit only the American people and neither party cares about them.

  • This guy doesn't even have any savings or investments. How is he supposed to organize the spendings of an entire country?

  • I believe this is the case in USA. EU still regularly stands to protect their citizens against corporations Europeans also have better understanding of the role of government and social policies. I'm not sure EU can win this fight but I'm pretty sure they will at least try.

  • Unlike Frozen 3, Toy Story 5, Shrek 3, Kung Fu Panda 4 and live action Lion King we have today. So creative.
