Got into Expedition 33 this week. Just got to the point where the huge stuffed puppet learned to swim. Gotta say, I don't get the hype.
I think they tried to souls-likify a JRPG. But it just feels like combat is one QTE challenge after the other. No other mechanic really matters, at least on normal mode. Also it feels like the main story, which seems fresh and intriguing, barely gets glanced at, while interpersonal relationships get a korean drama level exposition.
I'll tag along for a little while longer because the voice acting is stellar. The rest is meh IMHO

Ethisch bin ich 100% für die Abnabelung von Megakonzernen und die Verwendung von OSS. Aber zu behaupten, dass es keinen vernünftigen Grund gibt was anderes als LO einzusetzen ist schlicht falsch.

To all the people in this thread hyping Linux. Please remember that those screenshots capture you as well if you play with windows users. If this becomes a staple and you refuse to be AI fodder, then multiplayer is pretty much dead to you.
In theory this is awesome. Humans aren't built for menial tasks. All repetitive monotonous tasks should be automated. However, this doesn't fit our current economic system. Obviously all automation needs to be taxed, so that we don't have to live this paradox where each technological advancement is a risk to our livelihood.
