  • Frage: Womit Flaggen hoch halten?

  • Die Vorgabe mit den 3cm Durchmesser habe ich bei schwarzesocke auch gelesen, damit wären dann die Teleskopstangen aus Carbonfaser die ich gefunden habe eigentlich raus. Da der Durchmesser stetig abnimmt könnt man da aber versuchen zu diskutieren denke ich. Das mit den Trinkgefäßen passiert leider immer öfter habe ich das Gefühl? Ne zum Glück bisher nicht, der Anlass ist nur, dass ich mir endlich mal selbst Flaggen bestellt habe^^

    Auch ein guter Tipp, vor allem sind die schön günstig, einigermaßen nachhaltig und sehr leicht.

  • Eher kleinere Flaggen mit Maßen zwischen 150x90cm und 160x100cm bei 110g/m² also circa 150-180g.

    Ich glaube ich würde auch am ehesten Carbonfaser wählen, wenn es ein Teleskop sein soll. Da kann ich immerhin versuchen zu argumentieren, dass das Eigengewicht gar nicht ausreicht um ernsthaft damit zuzuschlagen.

  • That's not really an adequate recommendation imo. The Miyoo Mini Plus has subpar battery runtime due to it's size limitations and it's LCD screen, compared to actual eInk devices. The screen size and ratio is also not suitable for effective reading, even though it is possible to read eBooks with it.

  • You reminded me of the fact that I already undervolted my GPU so it's probably a good call to nudge the PSU up a little... 750W it is.

    I probably don't specifically need a 12 core CPU but comparing the prices of the 7900 non-X, 7900X, 7800X3D and the 7950X3D in Germany and considering the fact that for me gaming vs productive work balances at ~10% to 90% it really makes not much sense to consider anything but the 7900 non-X I think. The 7800X3D is well above 500€ again unfortunately and the 7950X3D even above 600...

  • Sure! I use mostly the terminal, my choice being kitty but aside from that rather small workload I do audio editing from time to time, have a browser with a rather large amount of tabs running all the time as well as the usual pile of electron based apps with differing amounts of actual load. If I do play games it's titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, U-Boat, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Elite Dangerous or smaller/older titles in terms of graphical load. My goal is stable 60fps in WQHD and beyond. I'm not thriving for 144 or even 180fps but don't mind more than 60 if possible. WQHD is what my two displays provide me right now, in the near future I plan to switch to an ultrawide screen but have not yet decided on the resolution.

    Mostly the 4770K CPU that is still doing its job but that shows its age by now. Browsing the modern web™ got quiet annoying, waiting for tabs with js heavy sites to load. Beyond that it's stuff like the case fans having run down bearings, the case having a rather limited IO shield missing USB 3 ports and the limited amount of "only" 16GB RAM. Sure, I could upgrade these without building a new computer all along but why bother when the CPU is the main issue?

    I'd like to keep the budget below or at 1,5k€ max. I mostly struggled with the mainboard as the available AMD chipsets really don't make much sense imo. I would have settled with X670E as well but the remaining available MBs with that chipset at least in Germany are on the decline apparently? I planned to use the be quiet! Silent Base 802 as my new case but it is too big to justify honestly. The North seems to be not the best in terms of noise isolation but looks nice and provides good air flow according to Gamers Nexus.

  • Ich glaube so richtige Flopfolgen sind mir einfach nicht im Gedächtnis geblieben. Liegt aber vielleicht auch daran, dass ich den Großteil der Folgen die Andre Minninger geschrieben hat, schlechter als Folgen der anderen Autoren finde. Da gehen so richtige Flops dann vielleicht einfach im Rauschen unter. Richtig gut finde ich nach wie vor Master of Chess, Die Toteninsel und rein aus sentimentalen Gründen Die Spur des Raben und Die Musikpiraten.
