    it did not. not only cant the boomers evwn pay for their own pensions they also left a hefty debt.

    the atlantic is stupid to think the 70s and 80s crisis"s were mastered because of the german attitude and great work. it wasnt. pensions were spent, debts were created. the only thing that changed since ww2 is that they forgot to keep theirs mouths shut. work is still the same, but the money is gone. at no point in time germany was exceptional - that is the fuel to the far right...to think germams were any good. war criminals were ministers, traumatized facists became teachers.... that entire german rebuild is based on the money of other people.

  • vorallen ist das ein sich wieserholdendes thema. der designer costolani hat denen damals nen schnellzug gestaltet...war der bahn aber zu fancy und man hat sich sebat den ICE gestaltet. ein zug so unaerodynamisch, dass er in tunneln bei gegenverkehr sehr stark abbremsen muss. die franzosen hingegen haben ihr gehirn benutzt und das design von costolani ist heute der tgv. die deutsche bahn gehört abgeschafft.

  • i run linux with docker and portainer with lizzys application template list for easier use and also her Dashy dashboard besides the usual containers ppl on r/selfhosted would suggest. right now the pine is out of ram because nodejs is just so bulky. so i run stuff like uptimekuma,pihole,,changedetection,unifi, nginx and sometimes start containers like firefly3, jellyfin, searxng or apache guacamole etc.. and while both my pi2 and my pi3 at some point just died I am all for pine now. only pi still in service for me is a pi1 with rtl433 to collect data and send via mqtt.
