  • Listen I will fully admit it can be garish when overdone (like on ios honestly) and heavy on system resources for no good reason. But aesthetically? Aesthetically it kinda slaps!

  • I was a fan of this style when Vista did it. I was a fan when Apple did it, I'm a fan of it now. Give me blurry glass everywhere pls.

  • Yeah he put it best here:

Me being canceled reinforced a narrative that CBS already had a nimbus of knee-bending that they had created around themselves

  • Causality is not the same thing as correlation, and I understand that [...] I would also say — and this is what feels most true to me — that two things can be true. It can be that the broadcast model is collapsing, and, while we’re at it, as long as we’re collapsing here, what if we shove this one out a window first? I mean, this lamb’s got a very cuttable throat.

To my knowledge this is the most direct he's been on that theory, which aligns with my suspicions as well.

  • This is crazy. The whole "colorized in post" effect is wild:

  • Very cool!

  • Not a joke actually!

    😭😭😭

  • Now all you need is to be lucky enough for insurance to approve a CT scan for an unrelated condition in the same region of your pancreas.

  • "The Jury voted against Jones, therefore it means he gets to keep InfoWars and also not pay them." is wild.

  • That's honestly beside the point. This case wasn't about his "grift" it was about harassment of the Sandy Hook families, who have not seen a penny from Jones yet, despite winning the case two years ago. The judge tried to come up with convoluted logic to make sure Jones retains control of IW despite, again, losing the case the judge presided over. It's insanity.

  • Rumble, where he's still using the InfoWars branding:

  • It's absolutely crazy the gymnastics the judicial system is making to keep Jones on the air and prevent the families of the Sandy Hook victims from seeing restitution.

This shutdown was Jones's decision not the courts or The Onion:

A judge granted Jones’ request to block the sale, arguing that another offer by a company that happened to operate Jones’ online supplements store had been higher. But in April, there seemed to be a workaround — Jones’ estate had run out of money and instead of buying it in an auction, The Onion could just pay rent in a licensing deal. On Wednesday, a Texas appeals court stopped the transfer again, temporarily blocking the asset handover.

And so it seems Jones, unable to pay the rent, left on his own accord.

  • Same! My introduction was that I ordered the "burger" at a gastropub that was a vegan restaurant (unbeknownst to me). It was delicious so I asked the bartender for another and he goes "another veggie burger?" and I said "No I had the meat burger" and he replied "we don't have a meat burger here". My mind was blown! And now I don't buy beef anymore lol

  • "Beyond" products taste good, and they're meat-like but don't really taste like anything that currently exists, whereas everything I've tried from Impossible is pretty much indistinguishable from meat, it's actually kind of wild.

I'm not even vegetarian (one day) but I was able to cut out red meat entirely thanks to these brands.

  • ok just wondering

  • No reason to believe what he says is true

  • source?

  • the R stands for RIP

  • who is "most star trek viewers"?
