  • Second dhal mention I've seen. I need to learn how to make a good dhal it seems. Never had one I don't think

  • Yeah it started for me around 18 or so. I've put it off for 18 years now. I'm sure it was a mixture of drinking, dehydration, excessive running, stress and poor diet. For a little while I couldn't figure out if it was hemmroids from stress/riding a motorcycle and other strains but when I read more into the damages that can be done from long distance running all the time, I think that and diet caused most of it. Excessive alcohol use following that up didn't help much. I've learned that bad choices are my Pokemon, I apparently just have to catch them all before I learn anything

  • Okay so I've never had dal, or is it a dal? I've got so much to learn and it appears now is the best time to start

  • I had never heard that before about vegan cheese. I love cheese (I'm a real outlier huh? Haha) but I'll definitely have to try that sometime

  • Oh snap, brown bag Biden is sneaking in again

  • So your lactose intolerant huh? That sucks. I used to wonder what food was causing my rectum to bleed so much, but I've diagnosed that it wasn't something to worry about until my 40s.

  • If it wasn't a low grade meat it probably would be fine. I mean it would just be beef tartare at that point without the seasonings. Which you wouldn't taste anyways, because the alcohol would keep you taste buds in a state of the fuck was that

  • Is it supposed to work, yes. But I've seen hundreds of computers not work right away and have to reinstall drivers, toggle things on and off swap the cords, then that cord work on another machine right next to it while the other cord worked in its place. Displayport should be great, but I've also seen ~20 of them just split and die at the end as well. Not the most durable, but that's probably manufacturing issues.

That said I currently have to work on a Mac mini at some times, and that uses usb-c to c.... And I have to disconnect the cable and reconnect it after near every reboot to get the monitor to recognize.

  • Your post led me to a shopping list, but I didn't have the strength to plan for it raw... Going to make lentil soup apparently. It'll take away all the stringiness while eating I guess but still have most of the nutritional fiber I think?

  • 2, easy to manipulate and can swap out the faceplate pretty easily by the looks of it. A pick your own style faceplate, CD and Bluetooth set like the learly 2000s seems like a nice callback for me

  • The entirety of Olivia Street is 1.2 miles (1.9km) long, it passes the Hemmingway house.

The majority of that road is one direction and looks like this

It's an island... Not exactly a high speed area anywhere.

  • Well being that the U.S. Russia and U.K. gave security guarantees to Ukraine to turn over any Nuclear missiles/silos and such to Russia instead of attempting to update/maintain them.

We are currently seeing what the U.S. security guarantee looks like. Attacked multiple times and one president that took their attackers words before theirs near every time they spoke despite all evidence.

  • Are you asking if there is a legitimate library or stock kept, if so not in my experience. More of a there are books over there outside the cell area that you can gain access too to grab a book with supervision. They weren't set up with spines facing out or anything, just a table, with some books stacked at the back. I'm sure they were different outside every cell block. (And that was the good behavior block that allowed people to leave to do work during the weekdays)

  • Yeah, that's why I didn't bother downvoting anyone. Really there is no easy solution. Studying the ways that states/groups/cultures have been able to reintegrate and achieve prosperity post the segregation/divide and conquer tactics during British occupation in areas around the world may point to tactics that do and don't work. Ultimately an integrated society that learns their neighbors beliefs and pursuit of happiness does not infringe upon their own and they should push for a community that values all of their pursuits so they can prosper together would be great... But that's just all nonsensical words to people who have been taught for so long that a person is A if they believe/look/walk/talk like such. And therefore they are different from them in group B,C,D or what not, and can not be trusted.

One thing is for sure, the people of the U.S. won't be of any help in creating an ongoing peaceful solution to those elsewhere in the world when we cannot find ways to implement better relations here ourselves.

  • If you ignore the 2 state solution he specifically stated he disliked the current government for not supporting

  • Not what was said. Using your words he said, I support Germany but want the NAZI regime gone

  • By saying he is appealing to the far right, means that far right exists in a capacity large enough to garner decent sized support appealing to them. I don't read this at all as saying N is the only problem.
