The myth that women enjoy sex less than men although not always borne out by experience has become fixed as an expected societal norm. Conversely a woman that does enjoy sex and is not merely enduring it for the good of her relationship is therefore thought unusual and very alluring. The surest example of this is a lesbian encounter as there could be no reason for it other than at least one of the women desires it. Ironically therefore one of the sexual acts that a man finds most exciting is the one he is precluded from by definition. It represents against type evidence of definite sexual desire in a woman which although simplistic and unreal is nevertheless a deep seated view.
