  • For me personally, it doesnt load my configs. So better use appimage

  • Haven't gotten to try yet, will do

  • The config for modern neovim users mainly consists of plugins and configs for plugins.

  • Nvchad is a ready made neovim config, that can be extended, not just a plugin.

  • I'm a heavy neovim user, also using Linux mint. I use the app image from the GitHub release page. Sure it means having it not automated, but that's fine with me.

Basically download the appimage, make it executable with chmod +x and move it to a location in your PATH, line ~/.local/bin/nvim (nvim being the name of the file, add that to your path. Another popular location might be /usr/local/bin/nvim). Afterwards, you can just use nvim in your terminal.

  • That's by far not the latest version. The current prerelease is on v0.10

  • Android is Google/Linux not GNU/Linux tho. You can't even create a damn symlink.

  • In my experience, video tutorials for it stuff are never worth it, besides theoretical fundamentals and stuff you have to know for exams. Besides that, first hand documentation and third party articles.

  • Perhaps you are used to the windows ways? It enrages me a little Everytime windows does stupid things, which I know can't be fixed (or fixing it would require astronomical efforts). That usually does not happen on Linux, but of course Linux has a lot of things to be fixed too. Then again, fixing Linux machines has kind of become a hobby, im a selfhosted now and work in it.

  • I mean, sure exporting is a thing, but syncing wise, we have vendor lockin? And besides Mail of course, and besides mobile apps for Mail.

  • For authelia, iirc it's a problem with the way cookies work, but also with how they set their system up structurally. I don't know the details anymore.

  • Does it work for multiple domains (not Subdomains)? I'm currently using authelia, which can't do that, which sucks.

  • Define use? Anyone using the Internet relies on a lot of FOSS, even if we just consider webservers kn the www.

Like others, the list of non foss is shorter for me.

  • Stabil

  • I mean, having more options would be good for everyone, no?

  • The Internet would not collapse without images. Usability would be bad in many cases, but it would still work. Now imagine your clients don't know the time and cannot verify if a certificate is still valid?

  • Das Jägerschnitzel

  • This really saddens me. LoL is a game that will forever connect me to some of my best friends, I played hundreds if not thousands of hours, even through I have not played nearly as much over recent years. We even did go to public viewing of the world's finals.

If they force this on us, then it will mean that my last game of lol was played months ago.

  • I see what you mean, but it still sucks.
