  • I hate this book burning mentality. It's not because the person is bad that the content is nessarly bad. Like, if war and peas's author turned out to be transphobic, would that automatically turn all of their comics bad?

Although it doesn't mean that hate and bigoted comics shouldn't be banned. That part is the actual offensive part.

And removing credits is actually scummier than posting bigoted comics imo

For reference, this is not to shill those persons. I'm literally trans and bi. I'm actually concerned with what those are artists are against.

  • Personally I've been using c!nonpoliticalcomics formatting of "[Comic series or artist] comic title" for a long time now.

Although I don't care about the artist, I post what I want / whatever I find because I'm bored.

  • I'm almost neutral about it.

    I'm neutral about the joke

But enjoy torturing teasing people that don't like it.

Although 67 or 69, you probably won't enjoy unsolicited gropping... (It's fine, they are frenemies)

  • inhale, exhale

    Time for a bonk

  • NGL she looks better after than before, but that may be my taste

    The guy looks fine too

  • Oh not the whole post. Only the first panel.

  • Because people are still there. If I was moving from Lemmy one day, I doubt that with my current following I'd have a lot of people following me away too. Only big artists can afford that.

Personally I don't use X, and only use Reddit very rarely (some subreddits are just not on Lemmy...). Although I don't think bluesky is a nazi platform, I don't trust them either as they seems to be a wolf in cloth form

  • Not at all. It's literally your "new post" UI for whatever client you use, but instead of only one community, you can select multiple.

But for some people "bot" is any automatic thing, and I rather not tempt faith

  • You mean twitter? It's still quite used by my artists friends for exposure. Personally I dipped early to mastodon (with blue sky bridge), but I understand having both.

  • Comics should be made and posted by real human beans, not by automated means like bots or AI

Is it fine to use clients that send posts to multiple communities at once? I'm working on something like that for comics like Exocomics that can be posted to here, nonpoliticalcomics, and the exocomics community

The post are genuine human. It just removes the copy pasting I need to do (on mobile as well)

  • And run it with the debugger.

  • Garfield talk about Jon.... But he's not better at dating

  • I wish work would allow us to use Linux... I don't feel productive in windows...

  • For whatever reason, outlook has been bugging me for a whole month, because it thinks it has an open dialogue box that doesn't exists.

The fix? Create a whole new profile.

  • Count us rust folks in. Typescript may doing it's best, but it's not as great

  • My definition of shitpost is content with a joke that isn't that good. It doesn't matter that the media took 3 minutes to makes, or a month, or that it made you laugh for a whole minute, as long as the joke is simple and "stupid" that's a shitpost.

This is a prime example of a shitpost.

The joke isn't deep. It's just that it wasted your time.

    Another example is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CToEldwJdI

Despite being high quality and making me laugh hard when I first heard it, the joke is pretty shallow, thus a shitpost

  • All hail the sentient cloud!

    • Cave Johnson of a backwater universe
  • Real

    Jump
  • Wow this app stinks. Did it spoil or something?

  • Oh come on! The coven has ruled out multiple times that turning people into succubi is not a proper way to transition gender.

We are still trying to limit the damages that the church has done for our reputation, so don't fumble this up.
