  • 2 things. Russell almost got by Lando and Lewis has much more experience than russell. The combination of these things leads me to believe that Lewis would have gotten past Lando. Once Lando would have been cleared, Sainz would have been a sitting duck.

  • Up until this race, he was the only one who scored any points in that AT

  • What would you do with tsunoda. He has been great all year and has been getting fucked by his own team, his own car and other drivers since returning from the break. He could have easily scored in zandavoort, Monza and Singapore. What rational do you give for dropping him¿?

  • I am also a newish user and am confused, what do you mean by found the nvidia drivers and installed then via CUDA¿? The nvidia are present in either in the official repos or the community repos. Also the package manager handles installs, how did you use cuda to install¿?

  • Especially when you also use a aur helper like yay. Also I have to do is type yay and enter my password and then everything is updated

  • Well for one alpha tauri will conveniently not attend the hearing discussing on the incident if race direction had organised one. Interesting precedent they have set there

  • I agree. But the has to be some avenue for possible changes to the racing order. Can't undercut in races like Singapore or Monaco because tyres take longer to get into the window and because the field is bunched as everyone is going artificially slow. Can't overcut these days because everybody is going slow and saving tyres.

Take Monza for example. It is hard to overtake there as well because of the reduced effects of drs and slipstream but the race is never boring because drivers are making a genuine attempt to overtake and all the off track tactics like overcut, undercut are also viable.

  • Perez hit him. Perez was dangling a wheel in for no reason. It was similar to ricciardo's incident with tsunoda last year in Mexico for which ric got a 5 sec penalty

  • There have been like 3-4 good Monaco races in the past 15 years. Out of the three-four good ones, 3 were good because of rain/variable weather. Occasionally it could be a good tactical battle revolving around the pitstops(see Monaco 2022 and 2023) but overtaking is too hard now to have excitement in dry conditions

  • It was tense yes. But it was tense because everybody was waiting for others to make a move or a mistake(nobody was proactively trying to do anything). By that logic Monaco every year is similarly tense because people are often running nose to tail and hence Monaco should also be considered as good races.

  • Ocon died to give us this end

  • This is my favorite race of the season so far.

I think you mean race end. The first 45 laps were exceptionally dull

  • Russell is not ready yet. Hamilton would have won if he was ahead

  • Sainz tactical genius man

  • Mercs infighting will fuck them

  • Oh no. Lawson's tyres are done

  • Lawson will score today if nothing shit happens to him

  • Interesting tactics from merc
