  • Sometimes, also private prop jobs to take me out to BFE where you slept in a bunk house/barracks full of strangers. Mostly normal commercial, rarely military (so loud, they are not built for comfort).

    Airport staff or other passengers was never an issue. The biggest issue is this is for work. You have no choice, you have to be there. Yeah maybe getting waited on hand and foot makes it better but I bet you get sick of that too.

    Like I said I wanted extended stay rooms to cook. I have a nearly unlimited food budget. Steak and lobsters every night... You burn out of that, at the end of my road work I would get a good loaf of wheat bread and eat PBJ's.

    We did switch to per diem and fucking hell did I make money on that!

  • What did the user say to upset the algorithm? If you tow the line, get a couple 3/7 day bans for stepping out of line and you cool your speech you are exactly they want on the website.

    If youre like me, no they don't want someone that can call out the BS and the lies. Older and has seen these games of the media and government playout before and call them out. You catch the B& hammer.

  • I got at least 3 dozen IP bans, they are movre clever now than before. My guess is they are using Pixel or similar because changing IP doesn't work on my main OS account like it used to. They nuked 5 long standing accounts in an hour.

    So I made an alternate log in account on the same PC and I'm in. Still VPN'ing. My concern is Windows being Windows will start linking/fingerprinting on all local accounts into one.

    I will say the last round was my last, the account I made is for the few small hobby subs I was part of to keep tabs on once a week or so...

  • Oh I would love a computer on my face to that isn't part of some BS like meta. How fun would it be to look at an object and ask "what is it" and it can find the answer. On a sidebar giving you real time health updates like heart rate, O2 levels, ect. Oh theres a storm rolling in, good to know I'll roll my cars windows up.

    Or my fav, your approaching a flock camera, here is an alternate route.

    Plus news/rss/emails all in a AR setting.

    But we all know this is probably never going to happen because these scumbags want to monetize/teach their failing AI to make a buck.

  • I used to travel that much in a year, no its not enjoyable. Now if its possible I drive/train to where I want to visit.

    You learn to hate travel, eating out every morning/day/night, ect. I used to make them set me up in classy extended stays so I could cook for myself.

    Oh and the fun when the travel agent gets you a compact and I have 6 military grade travel cases to load out at 0100 in BFE. Good luck getting someone on the phone to fix that...
