Don't forget the "at least we still have amd" mindset. If AMD picks this up (and the CEO's are related ffs) then the only work needed by game devs will be these horrible munchkin models that AI will magically fix.

As a business analyst that worked between the engineers and the end customer, I can attest that in my situation, the engineers had zero idea what the customer wanted. In fact, when I presented the engineers with the customer's requirements (no designer involved), they told me I was wrong, contacted the customer personally, and only then came back and said, "Ok, we'll do it that way."

Honestly, we need to get better about talented individuals in these industries having at least an idea floating around in their minds to rebuild a new 'insert company' when they pull this shit. Like, have it in your backpocket and be ready to act. The only thing that can stop this shit is to use those good reputations to create competitive products.
