    TOS: A Piece of the Action, and the more obvious answer The Trouble with Tribbles

    TNG: First Contact (the episode, not the movie) had some funny moments, but it's hard to pick a funny TNG episode

    DS9: Little Green Men

    VOY: Bride of Chaotica!

    ENT: Two Days and Two Nights

    DIS: – (did they even have a single funny episode?)

    PIC: same as DIS

    LOW: pretty much any episode, but my favourites are "wej'Duj" and "I, Excretus"

    SNW: Charades (probably the funniest out of all the Live-Action episodes I've listed, in terms of outright comedy)

  • I usually love bad humour. But these Very Short Treks are just terrible.

    I do like the TAS animation style though. And that the actual actors are voicing the characters is great too. Everything else ... not so much. Bummer. 🙁

  • I grinned like an idiot throughout the first episode because of all the Voyager callbacks but I got the biggest laugh in the second episode when Boimler goes to his new quaters and the room is bright red because of the glowing nacelle. I had to pause because I was laughing so much. For the past ~30 years I always wondered what crew quarters which face towards the nacelles were like. Thank you, Lower Decks.

  • Ich finde es immer wieder ernüchternd, dass es im öffentlichen Diskurs praktisch keine nennenswerten Beiträge dazu gibt, dass die Pflicht, für sein Land an der Front zu verrecken, verstümmelt oder traumatisiert zu werden, ausschließlich Männer trifft. Das wird einfach als völlig selbstverständlich hingenommen und es wird nur ganz sachlich darüber berichtet. Ich will gar nicht wissen, wie groß der Aufschrei (berechtigterweise) wäre, wenn die Ukraine Auslieferungsanträge für alle in der EU lebenden Frauen stellen würde, um die Population wieder zu vergrößern. Ungefähr diesen Aufschrei würde ich mir auch für die ukrainischen Männer wünschen.

  • I never understood why the producers put Troi, Seven of Nine and T'Pol into those stupid catsuits in the first place. All of them looked so much more sexy whenever they wore the standard Starfleet uniform.

    Thankfully Jellico fixed that at least for Troi.

  • Wird also Zeit, dass Korsetts und Tournürenkleider ein Revival feiern. 🙃 Im Interview wird das ja angedeutet: Bis vor 100 Jahren konnte man (naja, frau) da noch viel mehr verstecken bzw. kaschieren. Auf YouTube gibt's eine Reihe von Frauen, die historische Kleidung schneidern und es ist immer super interessant zu sehen, mit welchen Tricks sie dann die modische Silhouette hinbekommen. Das, was wir heute als Wespentaille bezeichnen, war in den allermeisten Fällen nur eine optische Täuschung (z.B. Polster an den Hüften, der Brust oder dem Po, dazu ein paar Unterröcke, um den Rock voluminöser aussehen zu lassen).

    Ist natürlich deutlich einfacher, als sich beim Chirurgen unters Messer legen zu müssen oder dauernd ins Fitnessstudio zu gehen.

    Angesichts des Klimawandels werden wir diese Art der "vielschichtigen" Kleidung aber wohl nicht wieder großflächig sehen. 🙁
