I've been publicly calling out junior developers at work who try to gloat about working extra hours or whatever. Nah bro. That's a recipe for burnout. Fuck that. 9-5 then I'm out. And no, I'm not working on personal projects using our (admittedly cool) tools we make, so stop asking.
Honestly, it's mostly my comfort using chromium browsers (specifically chrome) for dev. I know the Firefox dev tools are way better than they used to be, but that's one more thing to sink time into when I could instead just get things done lol.
2023, and I HATE video calls. I mean, I don't like audio either, but video is just.... Please let me just do my work. At the very least don't make me come on camera to talk to people who also don't want to talk to me.
