I moisturize with a homemade lotion. It's really simple to make. Shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, almond oil. I just do equal parts and put it in a double boiler until it's all liquid.
I use that everywhere, even in my hair as a deep conditioner. I will never buy store bought again.
JavaScript is slow, we should be avoiding it as much as possible. I prefer Astro and adding Preact only if I need it. Other than that Next is better than React because of server-side rendering.
I rarely leave my house but I love getting dolled up. It just makes me feel prettier when I look in the mirror. Plus a little boost of euphoria throughout the day.
Being trans isn't a mental illness. We've existed across every culture and century, long before you had an opinion about it. Lack of empathy, however, actually is clinically recognized as a symptom of certain conditions. But hey, no shame, mental illness shouldn't be stigmatized either 🤍🩷🩵
I agree with that, of course buying off the shelf is the most convenient.
But bread is really easy to do yourself. Bread machines are really convenient, it's just set and forget. There are even no-knead recipes where you can just mix and leave it in your fridge overnight.
Even though it's more convenient, I'll never eat store-bought again. Homemade is just so much better.
Wow congrats, you should be proud! This is super inspiring. Not just the changes, but the sense of calm and quiet confidence that comes through over time :3
I just read "The T Guide" by Gottmik (Kade Gottlieb) and Gigi Gorgeous. They both share their stories so it's mixed gender but it's not bad and a quick read.

I should definitely be using SPF though 🤔
