    Also, I know it's difficult to care about a job when you're treated like a disposable napkin by the executives, but please try to care about your fellow humans. The disabled person has no choice but to ask for help, don't let indifference to your job dehumanize people.

    I looked at xvideos, as one does, and on the front page were a couple of videos of "mormon women" or a similar title. The premise seems to be that "teen women" are in trouble or something, and they are meeting an elder who then of course has sex with them. But there's a really icky non consensual theme, the woman performers play up looking upset and shocked.

    Similarly the series about shoplifters, where the (again teen) women have stolen from a store and are coerced into fucking the security guard to prevent the police being called.

    It did not used to be like that. Sure, I'm grandpa Simpson yelling at a cloud, but this coercive and nonconsensual content is really yuck. And what's the deal with step-porn?!? They got everything now, step aunts, step granddad, etc etc. I think I even saw one that had a roommate's stepmom or something equally meaningless.

    At least kink.com bondage or gangbang stuff has the performers discuss how they felt afterwards, showing that this indeed wasn't real.

    I guess I'm too old for porn now.

  • Well I would guess most people are only acquainted with the surface details of the issue. Certainly it's easy to think "guns kill*, let's have less of that please." But of course the actual legal details are far more nuanced: The 2nd amendment, definitions of what exactly is a firearm, uppers/lowers/etc. *(I know guns don't kill, people use them to kill)

    I do wonder if some opposition to the term assault rifle stems from the "not one concession" interpretation of the 2nd amendment? The reaction to its use shuts down a thread or conversation.

    Personally I am anti gun, but unless a new amendment is passed, I don't see anything changing.

  • Bright daylight bulbs, or good colour changing bulbs to simulate sunshine.

    When it is bright outside, go outside and get some sun! Even if it's cold, you're still going to get some benefit.

    Get an indoor air quality monitor. Open your windows and let in as much fresh air as the outside temperature allows. Cold weather = people don't open windows = carbon dioxide and other shit builds up inside.

    Circulate air with fans or central air set to fan only.
