  • Ask yourself why you care what celebrities are promoting in the first place.

Even if they are being 'real', odds are they were just paid to say good things about a product they never actually use to take advantage of idiots who can't think for themselves.

  • No it's not.

  • Step down and be replaced with Bernie.

  • Yes. The supreme court is a political tool just like every other branch of government.

They are not impartial. They all have agendas.

I think Canada may not have this issue because there aren't as many different cultures in Canada competing for dominance.

Even though your ruling class wants to extend its reach as much as possible, they acknowledge they're still ruling over Canadians.

In the US, it's "city people ruling over country" or "whites ruling over blacks" or "christians ruling over everything." This means it's acceptable and even encouraged for one group to abuse another.

This creates an "us vs. them" mentality because it really is us vs. them.

  • Social contract is unraveling.

  • Lol, maybe you need more life experience then.

You do realize that luxuries and sex come simply from having money, right? Anyone with money can get those things.

Yes. And gangbangers gangbang for money. Wow. What a shock. I've already addressed this in my previous comment: "Until they stop putting wealth on a pedestal and start holding people accountable for how they get that wealth, these problems won’t get solved."

The only thing local Mexican citizens care about is not getting shot and killed by the guns smuggled from the US.

Really? I guess you have a point. Even the gangbangers care about not getting shot and killed, but I figure they have other matters to focus on as well.

If you think the issue is the US importing guns, you may be a tribalist just clinging to your side's rhetoric. Try to think independently so you don't repeat the same mistakes as other tribalists.

  • You've said nothing of substance.

  • Good thing you don't need to rely on microsoft to use a PC!

  • Thanks for the informative post.

Perhaps I should go with bear spray whenever I'm in areas with bear attacks.

I didn't think it would be so effective, but you're right about them having very sensitive noses.

  • I never said it wasn't a problem in China.

It's a problem anywhere it happens, that's where you and I diverge.

Hence my original point of: "It's only bad when China does it" -you

  • Sorry, I've had this argument before.

Do you think that the only difference between the US and other developed nations that has an impact on crime is the rate of imprisonment?

  • So in your mind, we punish a criminal mostly/exclusively for the benefit of other citizens who might then decide not to commit crimes?

I'd say that's pretty close. I'm not going to take an "all-or-nothing" approach and say prison can't rehabilitate, but I would say it's mostly to punish criminals so fewer people commit crimes.

What do you think about the criminal themselves?

It depends on the crime and the criminal.

The only reason there is a discussion is because of people who would routinely get taken advantage of by the criminals they advocate for.

I'm referring to people who don't understand that not everyone is good. There are bad people out there with no hope of rehabilitation and will just take advantage of any opportunity to receive a lesser punishment for their bad deeds.

  • Sorry, I am unsure how this federation thing works but your explanation made it much clearer.

  • No, you just don't like what I think.

If you didn't care you'd block me and move on. Lol.

    loser.

Yeah. Go read more SCP. That's what winners do.

  • I think that punishment is a deterrent for bad behavior and it's sad such a thing even needs to be discussed.

The only reason there is a discussion is because of people who would routinely get taken advantage of by the criminals they advocate for.

  • No, but they are rewarded for their behavior with what people usually work for: luxuries and sex.

Until they stop putting wealth on a pedestal and start holding people accountable for how they get that wealth, these problems won’t get solved.

Not sure what about this is so difficult for you to understand.
