  • I would recommend DivestOS. If you need MicroG, there is also iodeOS. I would recommend this over /e/OS because system apps can also be selected or uninstalled.

  • I think Diaspora continues to be an active and relevant macro-blogging platform. However, in Fediverse it is now only connected to Friendica and Hubzilla, not to Lemmy and the other software that only use ActivityPub protocol.

  • In my experience, Friendica has the best threaded view of the micro/macro blogging platforms in the Fediverse. This thread here is displayed in Friendica like this:

    Also in the timeline (unlike e.g. Mastodon) no individual posts/replies are displayed without context, but always the initial post + the (latest) replies.

  • ja, genau, die läuft weiter zuverlässig. Einige andere nicht mehr (über "Instanz wechseln" läuft es dann aber meist). yewtu.be und relativ viele andere Instanzen haben aber den Download deaktiviert. Das läuft dann über FreeTube oder NewPipe einfacher. Zudem können da auch Kanäle abonniert werden usw. Oder Piped gibt es auch noch als Alternative für Invidious: https://github.com/TeamPiped/Piped/wiki/Instances Da gibt es aber mW keine Downloadfunktion.

  • Ich war schon ewig nicht mehr auf der Seite. Invidous funktioniert auch immer noch, auch wenn viele Instanzen aufgegeben haben. Noch komfortabler ist es aber sowieso via FreeTube (Desktop) oder NewPipe (Android).

  • Könnten wir noch mal systematischer testen in der !test-Community, hier führt es etwas am Thema vorbei. Es gibt zum einen einen Unterschied, ob es Ausgangspost oder Antwort ist. Aber auch, ob der Account vorher schon getaggt war und jetzt hat es zwar geklappt, aber das war ja der Mastodon-Account, der auch den Ausgangspost erstellt hat. Das könnte ein Unterschied sein.   • Das mit dem Accounts taggen klappt jedoch leider von Lemmy aus Richtung Micro-/Macroblogging-Accounts mW nicht. Sie bekommen keine Benachrichtung. (edit: hier hattest Du ja von Mastodon aus geschrieben, das dürfte also angekommen sein. Aber von Lemmy-Accounts aus klappt es mW nicht Richtung Mastodon etc.)

  • Das gibt es schon eine ganze Weile, dass Beiträge in Lemmy-Communitys auch von Mastodon oder anderen Fediverse-Diensten aus erstellt werden können. Diejenigen, die keine Überschriften haben wie Mastodon oder Misskey, da wird dann der erste Absatz die Überschrift. In dem besser keine Tags und keine Hashtags, sondern die besser nach hinten setzen, sonst sieht es in Lemmy nicht so schön aus ;-)

    Ausführlicher hier eine "Eine kleine Anleitung dazu, wie Ihr von #Mastodon, #Friendica, #Hubzilla usw. aus mit #Lemmy kommunizieren könnt".
