The company as a whole is very stable and doesn't perform any overly wild anti user behaviour. And they're big supporters and developers of Linux.
If you want to install games that are spyware that's totally up to you. And I suppose that's really the point.

Never run anything on a free tier if you want to keep it. My legit Oracle account got flagged and deleted for no reason so they're dead to me, and I'll tell anyone who will listen. They're thieving assholes and will snatch away free tier the moment it's convenient for them.

I run Calyx and everything works for me except for Google pay. Google's device validation is required for that, and since Google can't separate the spying from security it's a no go.
My bank and Google maps works even. In fact you can download any app from Google Play itself via Aurora store.
I'm not even talking about proxmox, I'm talking about straight up QEMU with virt-manager on any RHEL like distro. Better yet if you have cockpit installed.
