  • "If you have 1 bucket that holds 3 gallons, and 1 bucket that holds 5 gallons, how many buckets do you have? "

  • Nora Valkyrie doesn't have thrusters, just explosive rounds for propulsion but feels similar enough.

  • I've been steaming with my friends about twice a week for a couple years. It's their channel, I just join in more often than not. They've got like, 30 followers, usually 0-1 viewers, but I think it's more important that it's a scheduled time to play games and hang out.

My advice would be give it a shot, and don't worry about the algorithm, viewers, or content optimization, because getting to be a big streamer is like being a rock star, highly unlikely. Just play games and turn on the stream.

  • Weird , looks fine on my end.

  • For anyone else confused, e-ink seems to be a brand, e-paper is the broader term.

  • Lol literally any customizable RPG where you can see your own character model.

  • There are public lobbies for cursed halo? Awesome lol

  • I have, very satisfying to watch such a well planned and executed level.

  • I mean, it basically protects your board from conductive liquid spills. It is also probably nail polish in ingredients, but works well for the stated purpose, and buying red nail polish with a thermal grizzly sticker is probably cheap.

  • Huh, I didn't realize the DRM was optional, that's good at least. Thanks for the update.

  • I've only ever reported a weird ASMR ad on Spotify as sexually explicit and that's because it is. Weird ass ad with a woman whispering into the mic about some trash.

  • Well, steam isn't just a marketplace. A marketplace would be just a place to buy keys, or similar. Steam is an ecosystem, with a market, and a launcher, and a community hub, and a modding platform. The multiplayer integration that many games rely on for matchmaking/lobbies. And every game on steam uses at least steam's DRM, where you are required to connect to the Internet every now and then to verify ownership of your library.

They have been the only platform to really try to support Linux though, and have made huge strides in the last few years. Steam is a big enough influence on the games economy that some of their choices become industry standards. And the 30% cut is the price devs pay to get into their system.

  • Don't data centers use thousands of gallons of water for cooling? Heat is problem number two after power to solve with computers. Sure there are radiators and such that can get rid of heat but without doing any math I expect it to be 80% radiators lol.

  • I think it means Graphene just doesn't update to the newest android version, they can still update grapheneos, but on the last android version.

A number of banking and wallet apps do not work on rooted/alternative OS, but I think the solution to Google wallet is use a different wallet app.

  • Yep! Discovered our rentals smoke alarms were like 15 years old. Got us new ones at least.

  • Could have been a real shit post in this comm, but actually just a spam account posting to everything.

  • Fortnite is a massive platform now, not one game with a few modes. They have car racing, the actual fortnite game, Lego survival crafting, all kinds of stuff. It's why the download is 100+GB and every patch is like 50gb.

  • If anyone takes them to court, I suppose discovery might turn up the reasons why, but until then it looks like they can drop customers the same way customers can drop banks. No reason.
