  • It’s definitely on budget airlines. Been using frontier and spirit for short domestic flights and they charge for everything.

Never really had issues with bigger carriers where they include checked bag, carry on and personal item in the ticket price.

  • I always ask at check-in if they will check my carry on for free. My flights are 99% overseas (8+hours) and I’ll have to wait for my checked bag anyway. It’s basically 50/50 if they will do it for free. I really don’t understand why I don’t want to check it and rather it fills up the cabin.

Even on short domestic flights I don’t mind waiting for a checked bag and all I need on the actual flight is my phone, a book and headphones, which I can carry without my carry on.

  • I’m still using it with Qwerty. I don’t really type English at work and a lot of the other layouts aren’t optimized for non-English use. So I’ve decided to just stick with qwerty.

  • Currently reading Thor by Aaron Jason vol 2. Never been a huge marvel fan but I wanted to read a Jane foster story. As for current runs I’m gonna watch up on the newest 007 story. Only read the first issue so far.

  • This is definitely not an EU wide issue. I’ve lived in a couple of different countries and always had the option of using my own hardware with static IPv4 and recently also static IPv6 addresses and with no port restrictions

  • My wife and I upgraded from X and XS to 13 Pro when it released. Both phones holds up amazingly well. Only new feature I’m envious about is the dynamic island but it’s hardly a feature I would upgrade for.

  • I just used the standard settings that Miryoku comes with. Sure from time to time it miss clicks but it’s maybe 2-3 times over the course of an 8h work day.

  • I only watched the first season (US) and both my wife and I couldn’t get over the forced reality show style scripting. Will Arnet was just too much sometimes and it felt like the contestants where asked to react in certain ways.

  • Corne with Miryoku layout is amazing. So happy with homerow mods.

  • I remember going to the Apple Store and picking up Snow Leopard on a DVD. Good times.

  • Awesome. Gonna try that. And that just saved you €250 by not buying their machine 😂

  • I’ve tried to look at this a lot when I had to sort and identify bricks but all I found out was that it was expensive and a gimmick. Like I could identify all my bricks quickly using rebrickable’s Find Part with just a few clicks. Based on some of the reviews on their site (I was only able to understand the English YouTube videos), you still have to spend a decent about of time identifying bricks.

I would think this is only worth it if you have a large bricklink store and buys tons of random brick to part out and sell.

  • I really wish they would have stuck 32/64GB storage or something like that on it, so the OS could boot without external reliance. Give the Pi0 8GB and it would be perfect.

I boot my Pi4 and Pi3 from SSD and it’s great but it’s clunky with the SSD and adapter.

I’m seriously considering a N100/N305 mini pc instead of my Pi.

  • Just wish the grocery list would share between family members too!

  • I’ve had the exact same spectrum setup in Orlando and I just gave up connecting to local services. Had a VPS for my external stuff and things I wanted to reach away from home and then used a couple of local services when at home.

  • Emma Congdon’s two books are pretty good and the patterns are nice.

  • Consider subscribing to a hashtag. That way your feed will be a lot more active.

  • Weird that this hasn’t been on the local news. I see Drivr cars all the time.
