You describing China is different from the US how? You can't make jokes about our admin with the wrong people without it being catalogued if not just outright "getting" you for it. People are turned away from entering for memes literally. One party rule is no different than having Dems and Reps. Different colors, same flavor of shit. Even if some people on the lower end of the Dems are trying to "make things better", which is mostly trying to go back to pre Covid status quo. And being disappeared isn't something that doesn't occur in the states. Especially if you are a service member in the military and you go against whatever is happening administratively. Fort Leavenworth isn't the only place to have you thrown away.
I've quit a few months ago and I miss it every day. I will never not want cigarettes. I don't want to die horribly or become more disabled than I already am, but I do miss lighting up a cig. I used to smoke 5 packs a day. No joke. That's about 100 cigs a day. I had to cut down cuz I started coughing up blood. Vaping sucked. No joy in that, no sting to let you know you're alive. I feel like since I've quit, while I may not be an aggressive dick as much as I used to, I am wayyyyy more depressed than ever now that they're not in my life anymore. Except when I smell them on the wind when someone else is smoking. It makes me jealous. I miss smoking. It feels like a breakup.
I never saw him eat or drink anything prior to being discovered by the mom of the family he moves in with. As far as I remember. So, I figured he probably wasn't fully "human" yet and was maybe hollow? So it all just sloshes down into the feet to be mushed out through pores? Or he might have something that makes him run internally that's hot enough to evaporate food and drink upon impact. Either way, I feel like these are still plausible because I do remember it showed him at the end making "snow" from the ice sculptures and he didn't age like Wynona's character did. He's immortal it seems. So I don't think he pees or poops at all. I do think it's weird he threw up from a hangover though.
I'm not sure. There doesn't seem to be issues with the cable from what I can tell. I would love to buy extra cables and adapters for everything I have, I just don't have the means at the moment. I'm getting the itch to just say fuck it and wipe everything and start over from scratch. I hate the idea, and I don't want to lose stuff, but I don't know if I can save up for some of the things I need to check further. I'm trying to talk myself out of that and just be patient, I'm just exhausted.
I cracked it open and to no avail. I'll need adapters. I finally was able to look at it on GParted, but it only shows the main 4TB partition and then a smaller unallocated 1mb partition that I can't do anything with, not even delete it.
I'll have to get an adapter. I cracked it open to find that it's not what I was expecting and couldn't plug it in to anything until I have something for it.
