I gave up, the issue is much bigger than just privacy. Most people have no problem with having their life controlled by external circumstances and being exploited. They say that's how life is. They don't save money, but spend it all. They don't start a company, but just get hired. They don't protect their data, but give it away for free. They don't eat healthy, but prefer to enjoy their sugar and fast food. They don't work out, but just watch TV, consuming ads. Most people are unreasonable beyond help.
My advice is, just do your thing and let the results speak for themselves.
With all these web based office suites popping up, I wonder if anybody needs these? It seems like a solution pushed onto us that nobody asked for. Everybody I know is still using MS Office or Libreoffice and everybody seems to agree that office on mobile devices sucks.
I can feel whether a battery is full or empty based on its weight. I know it doesn't make sense but I've done a blind test and it works. Empty battery is lighter.
That can happen in any monolithic kernel OS. So basically you have two choices:
a) Microkernel OS like Redox (still alpha)
b) Hypervisor OS like Qubes.
Depends on what your threat model is. Sure a fully locked down mobile OS is more secure, but I also care about freedom and privacy. It's not all black and white.
I don't know, lol. Reddit sucks, just stay here on Fediverse :)
