  • Yeah, annoying that it has different meanings.

  • I asked this myself, too. AI response:

clear: clears the visible screen (sends the terminal’s “clear” sequence); usually fast and does not change terminal settings or fully reinitialize scrollback.

reset: fully reinitializes the terminal (sends init strings, resets modes/attributes, may reconfigure terminfo/baud, and clears); slower and used to recover from garbled output or broken state.

  • Apparantly 1984, because we are currently implementing it.

  • AI is not LLM by the way.

I'm sure that there could be a classifier ML model that classifies this more reliably than any human, when trained by the best institutes.

There are also cancer classifiers based on images of skin that are more reliable than any human.

But yeah, I wouldn't ask an LLM...

  • Is this post real? At this point, I don't even know anymore.

    FCK this reality!

  • Well, 5 years ago, they cried about wedding vows written by someone else, too. Instead of ChatGPT, they came from the first Google search result.

  • What did the orange one do?

  • They need to open the event viewer now, which takes 2 minutes.

  • Maybe, Putin said "three day-cades"

  • Don't worry. Trump will freshly tar the straight of Hormus and solve that issue easily!!!!!!

  • Intention driven media consumption is getting killed everywhere.

YouTube hides your subscriptions from you, the public broadcasting institutions from my country recently netflixified the experience (they try to tell you what you want to watch).

    It's so stupid.

I had to revive RSS for myself to overcome this. My feed, my decisions!

  • Why do Russian elites hate their people so much?

They get the killed in wars, they want to overwork them, ...

  • He did not notify Europe about the war, then asked the Europeans to help him open the strait, then told he doesn't need the help to open it, then decided to not open it at all and now, he threatens to leave NATO because Europe did not help.

Can we please go back to the good old times when people in power had a brain and used it?

  • If we aggregate the information, we will probably reach a range that this Wikipedia article mentions of 7k to 36k deaths.

Khamenei acknowledged that "thousands of people" had been killed during the protests, blaming American president Donald Trump for the massacre and calling all protesters "rioters and terrorists" affiliated with the United States and Israel.[20] The Iranian government put the death toll at 3,117, stating that 2,447 were civilians and security forces, and the rest were "terrorists".[21][22] The government published an official list of 2,986 victims. Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRANA) described the official list as mostly unverifiable due to the lack of sufficient identifying details.[23] Iran International stated on 3 February that it had its own confirmed list of 6,634 deaths, of which less than 100 were on the official list.[24] HRANA published a full report on 23 February 2026, including a detailed named list of 7,007 deaths.[1]

Calling protesters "agents from other countries" is the 1x1 of authoritarian regimes BTW. Belarus, Russian, Iran... They all do that all the time.

    Day 1499

  • Great. That matches my first comment:

Iran murdered Thousands oft protestes a few months ago.

  • You are a troll and probably don't even knew what my government is. I could give you the same news from European countries, but you wouldn't accept that either.

You'd accept the Iranian newspaper that would not even mention the protests at all.

So sad that people like you prioritize their agenda over rationalism...

  • Iran murdered Thousands oft protestes a few months ago.

We all know that they don't care about their people.

  • many other Europeans calling us stupid

I'm not calling you stupid btw. I'm calling those stupid who vote against their interests without realizing it.

something that Europeans have no experience with

I think, the the newspapers in Europa are capable to understand basic US politics without having to experience that MAGA shitshow themselves and without having the same laws.

Anyways... Good luck stopping the orange manic, however you do it!
