  • Im glad they are struggling. All corporations are bad.

  • Corporations are part of a structure of might which is called the machine. The machine consists of beatlings where each beatling is the authorities of a geographic area. Corporations sets up veins to the beatling and ensures it is beating, in exchange the beatling gives authority to the corporation. Thus there is a symbiosis between beatlings and corporations.

I believe we should move away from the machine towards horizontally run societies for instance through democratic confederalism. By doing this, we would move away from overproduction, natural slaughter, superficial needs, overexploitation, hierarchy, alienation, and towards natural closeness, the meaningful and connectedness.

The purpose of the machine is not to serve us, but to uphold itself and expand, but the only thing standing in its way is... People. So it creates mechanisms to encourage hierarchical thinking, subordination, coldness, distrust, fear, division, narrow mindedness and dehumanization.

When we horizontalize, people will be attracted to these new societal structures and abandon the machine. Thus removing the existential threats to humanity.

  • I am aware. I dont view tankies as a threat.

  • Only good zio is a dead zio.

  • For starters everybody shapes narrative regardless of they are aware or not. We all have a narrative, and in that sense I agree with you.

I dont agree that controlling posts is their primary method of shaping the narrative. Rather it is the authoritative voice of being the engineers of lemmyspace. They are obviously authorities on Lemmy dotMl, but they are not authorities on other hives. However they are naturally going to bind masses to their main hive through Lemmy dotWorld and other hives that choose to align, thus making a bound hegemony through samhive.

Lemmy hives who want to distance themselves from this bound hegemony can unbind themselves to make their own samhives. But their construction will still be a construction of tankies causing a weak tanky hegemony.

Because of this, lemmyspace has a tanky shine.

  • I believe that a graph overviewing different approaches to societal ferns should count those that states explicitly how society should be bound together. Anarcho feminism and anarcho primitivsim would then not qualify because two different anarcho feminist societies could be implemented drastically different and likewise with anarcho primitivism. They could then be democratic confederalists, anarcho communists, syndicalists or zapatistas.

We should rather treat these as frames of anarchism. The feminist frame, ableism frame, jineoloji frame, food security frame, primitivist frame, queer frame. unmight frame, jamstand frame and so on. These constructs a framework that grounds our reasoning and makes us better suited in understanding what we should expect from society, and thus also the societal fern.

By making this distinction, we make it easier to explore anarchist ideas and encourage picking a societal fern.
