  • Since developing early onset dementia, I've had to switch to mint.

  • I wasn't addressing an individual, see screenshot.

  • It can go either way. I mostly use it on inanimate objects that have injured me.

  • I believe what this user is referencing is the fact that they had sensors all throughout the carbon fibre hull to detect issues. So there could have been an "oh fuck" period before the instantaneous implosion.

  • Ooh, didn't know we had a trackers community yet, cheers.

  • Funny, I didn't even notice, just came up on the feed :)

  • I'd like it how it is now but a bit more active, like reddit circa 2008 when I first joined. Sure there were memes and shitposts, which are fun and have their place, but even then the discussions on news stories and other serious topics were of unusually good quality. Tildes captures the later quite well, but is also pretty quiet.

  • Sorry, I was bored one day.

  • Yeah I'm wildly careless about copying and pasting stuff beginning with "sudo ...". No harm yet, though I do wonder what this process called "totallynotabitcoinminer" is and why my pc has slowed to a crawl.

  • Jesus it sounds like they took a look at /r/subredditsimulator and thought, "hey let's make the whole site like that".

  • Lots of trees :)

  • It's worse than that, when this all started I had a look at their Wikipedia entry. They have 2000 employees across 5 locations. What in the ever loving Christ are they all doing if that app is the best they can do?

  • They're super cereal this time.

  • I like mint, never really have to think about it. My ageing workstation is on 24/7 (arrgh) and Plex works just fine. Firefox is fine, google docs or libre office are fine. Things just work.

The one problem I do have is it goes mad and needs a reboot if the monitors go to sleep while one of them is orientated to portrait. So I just switched off sleep and turn them off manually.

  • How do you know when someone is a vegan Arch user?

    • The name of your first crush.
    • Your religious beliefs.
    • Your innermost fears.
    • That thing you did in June of 2007 that you must never speak about.
  • If we don't open the cage, how do we let the lions in?

  • "Yeah it's just this really obscure 90s band from Seattle that no vapid 25 year old girl such as yourself would have heard of. Sad story actually, the singer blew his brains out."
