  • I've had good luck with these adapters:

    Ebay/aliexpress/wallmart/etc. Plugs straight into the USB port too, and I use the same adapter for my n64 and snes.

    You can get wii2hdmi adapters (it seems for $20) as you'd also be going straight from a digital-to-digital source rather than output to analogue then converting back to hdmi (with one of those little boxes).

    Sure there is a fair amount of stupidly ridiculous front lawns of those in cul-de-sac or HOA type communities which could be made better. But surely they have some merit?

  • Forcing subtitle burn in would require every item to be transcoded.

    In Jellyfin you need to go to User Settings > Subtitles > Burn > All.And probably change subtitle mode too to always have them on.Then in Jellyfin add-on for Kodi you need to make sure you go via the jellyfin server (add-on mode I think?) not native mode.
