  • vscode is actually a pretty decent code editor for my needs. I use VSCodium which is basically the same thing except lacking support for a few proprietary extensions (most notably the Microsoft C/C++ extension, so I use clangd instead which for some reason was way easier to set up with copr repo on fedora than either on windows or with flathub on fedora...)

  • purple would be cool too. orange would also be interesting...

  • A yellow steam deck and/or steam machine would be cool

  • someone should make a yellow console. Yellow is a good colour.

  • I recently installed Fedora on my own 2-in-1 flippy laptop, and it works well. The screen rotates when I rotate the device, touchscreen works, and the stylus works as well.

  • I searched this up, second result goes: "In Viso del Marqués (Ciudad Real), an uprising occurred in 1742 on the occasion of a dispute regarding who should be the town doctor."

I wonder who became the town doctor...

Other results find the conquest of the Canary Islands by the Spanish.

  • I would like to interject, the Dutch aren't Danish...Copenhagen is a city in Denmark...

  • For me my favourite monospace fonts are B612 Mono, Oxygen Mono, and Fira Code/Mono. Currently I use B612 in vscodium and Oxygen in the terminal

  • local music players are awesome! On Windows I like AIMP and Gapless is very good on Fedora Workstation and is what I use now to listen to music

  • Email is always insecure, it was never designed for that kind of thing. If you want that, use a messenger like Signal or Element.

Proton Mail means that the email can still be read by malicious actors if you send or receive emails from non-Proton Mail users so it’s best not to use it for anything secure. No email is secure, and that includes Proton Mail. It’s still a pretty decent email though, if you’re okay with using their slow app over things like Thunderbird then it’s perfectly fine!

  • I would guess they know a bit about lists using “-“ and a few people might know about using asterisk to bold stuff, but other than that probably not.

  • Oh yeah it would be a nightmare for non-english speakers for sure. Interesting that German is more phonetically consistent than English (stuff like “Karl” make more sense now)

  • interesting

  • Cut both apples in half. One half for the blonde, one half for brownie, one half for the ginger, and the last half for the animals or something.

  • not special software, but it has an app that lets you log in on win and mac. On Linux, I was able to log in and see all the servers but when I set it as proxy it didn't work :( I might try again later

edit: Clash Verge is supported by the VPN, but I thought there was no Linux app (turns out there is!) and it works fine! Hooray!

  • phonetically it should really be "colur", so I think "colour" is a decent compromise
