  • How far is your capital from your home?

I'll just gather up my posse of 5 close friends to make the 14 hour drive to Washington while maintaining opsec from the largest surveillance network in the world. Maybe driving isn't a good idea, we'll just take the train, that will only take 28 hours.

Can you even drive in a straight line for 14 hours and not leave your country?

Logistics matter. Distances matter. Having the money to eat while you've abandoned your job matters.

It's easy telling us what to do from the comfort of your keyboard.

  • And amnesia = barren mind

  • Unlike Fetterman, Platner comes from and is a working class fella and not a trust fund baby cosplaying as one. Cautious optimism is warranted, though. So many snake oil salesmen these days.

  • Lsten to his interview with Jon Stewart. I had no idea who he was, but after that interview I want many more like him running across the nation. It was cute listening to Jon and him fangirling at each other by the end of the interview.

  • I got ome planted so far thos year. Running out of space on my own property. Time to go guerilla.

  • I'm a masochist. I have mint on one side of the house and wisteria on the other. I should round it out with bamboo and blackberries. Make my home into a rhizome cage match.

  • What power?

  • Julip mint would be best for that. We have some and it makes fantastic fauxjitos.

  • Blackberries would probably learn to coexist with mint if they can share enoug root space.

We have 3 kinds of mint and I've already pulled fistfuls out of the ground where they're encroaching on neighboring plants. We planted it in the garden next to our big oak tree for our daughter to nibble when she's out there with her friend, but it's probably the last season we'll keep it.

  • Sea bunnies and leaf sheep are some of the best.

  • Loved my elite series 2 until the covering started peeling off the back plate. Replaced the back plate but something is off and it now loses power/connection when not plugged in. Spent $30 on the replacement back shell. Then I spent $30 on an 8bitdo that works well enough. I never used the back paddles on the elite, they were too easy to accidentally trigger, so I din't miss them.

  • I give this review a 7/9 perfect score.

  • Good hole.

  • I know how time-consumimg (also satisfying 🤤) that is.

All those hours with legos and playing tetris found their use.

  • Retropie is an OS that can emulate games from NES to PS1. Maybe worth a look.

  • Tru Blood

  • Transplanting moss from the other side of that fence.

  • It might end up not working out, but the mulch is meant to break down and become a medium for moss to grow on top of, so it's not structural. It wasn't a thick layer, either. If it does end up being an issue, well I suppose it's a good thing the floor isn't mortared in place.

  • We have literal tons of rocks we've added. 12 or so boulders ranging from 50 to 1,200 lbs (22.6796 - 544.3108 kg) and besides thr pallet I used here we've had 3 others of different flagstones and several cubic yards (same imperial and metric, wow) of various sized gravel/river rocks.

    We love our rocks.
