  • Also, afaik, this line is not needed, as fgets already produces null-terminated output

  • This also implies by contradiction, that if they didn't do that specific stuff they were fine and not bullied

  • I think, this kind of automation was a sci-fi dream of ⅩⅩ century, but we kinda failed to reach it

  • If you don't take into account the fact it will also convert a fertile paradise of southern parts of country into a hot hell. I don't think even ex-tundra will really be stable for long at that point

  • I don't get why Tab gives up the first, if anything, I would expect one of WSAD or Space. I think, I didn't even break Space on my keyboard when I played N and Super Meat Boy extensively, keyboards are tough

  • If the pdf you found is from the internet archive, it seems to be abridged, but I also don't have an original one

Edit: it starts at page 256, while the ad is supposed to be on 92, I also guess that Amazon pdf also omits ads, so the only way to check is somewhere in a Canadian library

  • I mean, to me using truth as a verb, and especially applied to him looked funny as hell

  • Am an immigrant in Spain

    1. Woke up with alarm
    2. Went to office
    3. No beer at lunch T_T
    4. At least went to get a massage in the evening
    5. Will play Baldur's Gate 3 with friends online now
  • To be fair, he truths that Iran has agreed and proposed a plan, and truths nothing about what he himself did. Which I would assume to be weaseling if I expected him to be at least that smart

  • But think about how much this could be taxed, this looks like zero-sum if you pay the same to me that I pay to you, but it is negative sum for us, and the government benefits from all the shuffling.

Now it looks like another incentive to create inefficient meddling processes with extra steps.

  • Remote control carting course it is then

  • “You’re going to get harassed for writing this,” Donaldson warned me. “No one understands my side of the story.” He told me that he can’t disclose the additional facts that he claims would guarantee his “100 percent win.” “My lawyers are very mad that I’m talking to you,” Donaldson said. “I have to hold my cards close to my chest.”

Donaldson has a point, for me it's hard to have much sympathy for someone who tells ‘I was just doing business, morale be damned’, even if I now understand his part of the story (as told by him himself, which is not necessarily same as truly)

  • I happened to hear about that instrument from a video from FOSDEM'26: https://youtu.be/9qEtm2zx314

It gives more context, but it really should've been a text article, imo. It talks about history of copyright, and why its application now is kinda broken, at least that was my takeaway.

  • Not exactly on topic, but depending on the phone hardware, GameNative may allow to run PC games. I think, it's worth mentioning because hardware becomes more performant, and emulation support improves over time, and I didn't expect to be able to play something from Steam on my phone, and yet recently I started doing just that (in my case it's Slay the Princess, the game is great, but doesn't fit the bill of what you're looking for)

  • Having integers with amount of bits indivisible by 2, let alone 8, is a nice feature to have in a language, I deed

  • Afaik, it eventually got there before the USSR ended, so hemp fields were restricted areas, and its use was in decline starting at some point. Not sure if I can find sources for that

  • The llama resembles some very specific cartoon character (originally human), but I can't remember who that could be. It's pretty, nevertheless

  • Not in the same way, but Slipknot — Vermilion, pt 2

It used to be my goto recommendation when asked for some new music, in expectation that the one asking will be surprised when checking out the rest of their music.

But as for me, I liked the rest of the songs, too, but didn't listen to the new albums for about 10 years now

  • Yeah, I mean, I hated commuting when it was 1 hour one way, I can't imagine how I would have hated 3 or more hours
