"then" is used to depict time, sequence or a causal relationship. "than" is used with comparative adjectives, to depict comparison.

  • oic, I guess it doesn't make much of a difference where relevant laws are either pretty lax or inadequately executed.

  • Due to how much circumvention goes around here (India) anyway, Uber/Ola actually ends up being a better option overall. And the map feature ends up being pretty useful.

  • Uber/Lyft

    Airbnb

Apart from the recently added surge pricing, what else is illegal about these 2?

  • I don't see anonymity as a big help in this case. That just makes us have to believe that regular people want bad for other people, while those in high governmental positions care more of the truthful outcome. While in reality, we also require the people to know how well the governmental processes are being executed, to prevent anyone from shirking responsibility.

  • Finally, something useful. Now let's hope they don't make the AI "patch" it.

  • I would have loved to apply, but it is too late to start doing Gtk4 from now, for this.

  • It does work better on some, than on others though.

  • I thought MRA was a joke movement that started due to how jokey some modern feminist spokespeople were.

  • Feminists believe women have the same rights as men.

I think their points are coming from places where women already have the same (and sometimes higher) level of rights as men and in those places, feminism is not of the same form as in the rest of the world.

  • That might be.Can't be very sure about how it turns out for the Steam Deck. The law's definition of OS might not be on the same page as ours.

  • Maybe some kind of in-joke of air-force not getting to drink ) socialise ( because they have to be ready to scramble.

  • Well, I guess Steam won't have a problem with California law

  • But of course, if the extra exploration rate can be afforded, then so can their salaries. The only thing that matters is whether there will be someone wanting to do so.

  • Well, considering how the same people think that they need multiple cosmetic surgeries and then fill up more make-up to be "normal", I see where the 500K comes from. Even if I had 500K to burn, I won't be dating any of those, but that's just me not being normal.

  • Well, the average deck hand can stay working at the normal ships that are shipping other stuff. The above average ones can become a deck hand for the newer vehicles for deep sea operations.

Both are probably already paid low enough that corporate can easily pay them while reducing shipping rates at the same time.

  • At the same time, there have been quite a few high-profile cases where the women used relevant laws to cause misery to others.Because in those cases, even if the defender ends up as not-guilty, he still most probably loses a job and more.

There is a fundamental problem with how the laws made for these things are executed. They end up being inadequate to help enough of the vulnerable women (corresponding to unreported cases) and at the same time, too powerful to prevent malicious use (corresponding to fake cases).

  • So overseas shipping rates drop and some of the companies convert their ships to give joy-rides in seas (because cheaper sea travel), while some seamen get to explore avenues like deep sea exploration (which seems to be a really underdeveloped field) and development.

  • They didn't feel the need to make a complex language, because they were content in keeping their more complex thoughts to themselves.

  • we’d both love to date someone who is happy with their life, but we don’t meet anyone like that

Yes. That's pretty much how it is for most.

But their expectations from relationships also get shaped by the expectations on them. And here I realise I am just saying the same thing as you, just in different words.
