  • I have noticed that this post has more up votes than likes of the original one (15 vs 9). If you liked this drawing please live a like to original post (https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/134948499) and maybe a comment too. I think author deserved it. It's probably one of my favourite works, among with Marisa carrying stars in a net bag and Luna lying in the water.

Also nice to see Toyohimes spike, I wonder if it's just because she finally appeared in the game or she has interesting dialog, because from what I know, people generally don't like her too.

  • I understand it can look uncanny. The fact that it was generated also changes perception at least a bit. On this one pic wings look strange. Because they are this long I expect them to be wider. Chicks look fuzzy when I zoom in to take a closer look. Though idk if I would have noticed these things if it wasn't tagged.It's interesting to see how gen AI progressed compared to the previous AI pic posted here. IIRC that one was the first one and it was posted by me as a reason to discuss what should our stance on AI generated content be. Rule that we have right now didn't exist yet.I honestly don't know what to think about gen AI. I don't have negative opinion to think that it should be completely forbidden it in this community. Tag seems like a middle ground between completely accepting and banning AI. But if peoples think otherwise it would be cool if they responded why they think like this. Thank you for yours!

  • Yeah I mean OP didn't do anything wrong here. But if peoples are largely against AI pics here, even considering that they can filter them out, then maybe we should take some action regarding future AI pics. I don't want to make decisions based on just "AI slop" report and up/down votes count.

I mentioned it, because I thought I didn't make this post properly. It was also my mistake to skip that Bluesky thread because it has interesting facts about Touhou in general.

  • I should have created this post differently, probably will edit it a bit later. I found that blog, thought this ai situation is interesting to share and just posted it. It doesn't mean that I share my opinions with the author of that blog. I don't really have an opinion on that topic tbh. (Mentioning it just in case)

    If you are old enough to remember, people did this too in the 2000s, to people that used Photoshop over ‘real painting’.
