ACCC to provide weekly fuel market updates as it monitors price gouging

Australia's consumer watchdog is watching fuel companies as prices surge past $2.50 a litre, driven by a Middle East war that has pushed global oil to nearly $US120 a barrel.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is investigating price gouging concerns as fuel prices jump...Fuel prices are more than $2.50 a litre in some places, with price increases daily.
