Off to a non-US instance. Goodbye, and thanks for all the fish.

  • Are you implying java is to javascript what car is to carpet?!

  • the close tie to Google.

Guess who's one of the rounders of the Rust Foundation...

  • You can deminify, decompiling is a bit harder.

  • Does the FCC still exist? In this day and age you never know...

  • No, the real issue is that people don’t want to admit when they’ve been taken for a ride.

    How ironic...

  • Grannyporn.

  • Is it subtitles in english though?

  • Sweden of all places? What happened in the last decade that Sweden's slowly losing the fame of country to follow in social aspects?

  • I'm forced to use Copilot at work and as far as code completion goes, it gets it right 10-15% of the times... the rest of the time it just suggests random — credible-looking — noise or hallucinates variables and shit.

  • "Crippled languages"?

  • Most old FOSS is written and maintained in programming languages that Kids these days™ don't think are cool (and were probably never taught about in school either).

Hardware used to come with an extensive manual. Hardware these days is a vendor-locked black-box with built-in obsolescence that might get you in court if you open it.

Kids were more curious and spent more time outside, Kids these days™ spend most of their time under the light of screens, inside their safe spaces and can't even tie their shoelaces.

  • I've been happy with joker (de).

  • Ideally one wouldn’t need to pay to experience a form of art

Sure.. music instruments and the electricity to feed a stage are free.

  • rip to a computer

99% of new PCs lack a CD drive.

  • I use BandCamp or HDtracks when i can't find it in the former. If you're in the US, Privacy.com has CCs. There are some sites that over gift cards via XMR too.Generally though, if there's a CC involved, there's almost always KYC.

  • AFAIK only SQLite uses it.

  • IIRC someone else forked gitea and later Cideberg took them under their (legal) wing. Either way, great projects.
