  • I haven't listened to this band for a while. Thanks for the reminder.

  • Thanks!

  • Just my laziness. I don’t feel like the eating experience is diminished, though.

  • To a mostly Australian audience , clarification is not really needed, and certainly not for anyone British. I was trying to be mindful of a wider audience.

  • Great. I know around half of those on your list. Will check out the others.

  • Yes, cool. There is so much Japanese indie stuff out there that I have been listening to for the last couple of years. Do you listen to any other Japanese bands that you can recommend?

  • Yeah! The Japanese Pavement. Did you hear the album they released in 2023? I posted a song from it on here.

There are a lot of really great Japanese indie bands.

  • You’re welcome

  • Some of their listed influences are Talking Heads, The Cure, The Smiths, The Sunny Boys, Parquet Courts, Ought and The Strokes. I would say they sound quite English, so London might be just the place for them.

  • I have a special place in my heart for a large number of FN acts!

  • IKEA Världens. 650g 26 litres. Sooooo inexpensive.

I have a previous version which is clamshell but didn't have removable bag (has interior pockets). Mine also doesn't have tote handles (can live with this) or external bottle holder (which is a minus). I just got back from a 2 week summer trip, including laptop and some bulky running gear.

Being really light is good if you have to be careful with cabin baggage allowance. It means it's not as robust as some, but there's a no questions asked guarantee.

  • Thanks for saying. The photos you’ve posted on your account are much better than mine, I must say. 😊

  • The non-chips could have been taken out of the fryer a little sooner. However they were all completely good.

  • If it’s the one near the San Remo bridge, I’ve been there and agree. However, the best fish and chips I’ve had was on the west coast of Scotland. Australia wins hands down with coffee, though.

  • If you want to disappear down a rabbit hole, search for “Goin’ Feral” on Youtube.

  • I could only do that section, unfortunately. It’s definitely on the list to go north and walk the Flinders Ranges part, though.

  • Good stuff!
