  • 90% of my meetings are Teams / WebEx. I just get other computer work done on the other screen while I listen to the meeting because there's only 5-10 minutes of the 1 hour meeting that pertains to me.

Sort emails. Respond to emails. Get CAD modeling done. Place orders for stuff.

Love getting some down time to get stuff done.

  • So, "Die Hard Chocolate"?

    Yippie Kiyay!

  • Little bit of column A, little bit of column B... 🙂

But mostly, I am sick and home from work and watched it (mostly) with my eyes closed while drifting in and out of sleep.

  • That's my go-to movie. I have probably watched it 30+times. I am sick, and just watched it yesterday. 😂

  • A lathe!?

    Get off the line, Guy!

  • We do that with home made sloppy joe sauce. A muffin cup is perfect for one sloppy joe serving.

  • My wife and I make spaghetti sauce a couple of times a year, but we make it in 2 giant stock pots and start with giant institutional cans of tomato puree and diced tomatoes, then cook and add the ground beef and Italian sausages and seasonings and then measure out portions into vacuum bags and freeze them. It takes twice as long to do those two stock pots compared to maybe two meals worth, but we get 12 meals out of that.

Want spaghetti? Grab a vacuum pack out of the freezer and put it in water to boil on the stove. When it's defrosted and warmed up, cook the noodles and dinner is ready.

  • Yeah. Same. I saw the "half bike" ones all over, but my kid wanted to ride alone, but from the house to the park was a shit show so it was either put the bikes on the car to go two miles, or that. Easy choice.

  • There is a thing called Trail-Gator that allowed your kid to ride their bike the whole way but when connected to your bike, you had control.

I could hook up my son's bike and take him to the park, then unhook it and let him ride alone.

  • Become the person this story inspired you to be.

People who perform these acts of kindness are not tasked with it. They do it because they see that it is needed.

It doesn't matter if it's true, if it inspired you to do something for the betterment of society, that is good enough.

  • That's great! Thank you!

  • I am partial to Prusa printers, but if you want an easy out-of-the-box experience, the Bambu printers are hard to beat.

  • flyers in mailboxes

Regarding putting anything in mailboxes - it is actually a federal crime to put something in a mailbox unless it is properly addressed for delivery through the postal system, or you are a postal worker. I would refrain from doing that.

  • That's great! Thank you!

  • To the org that provides support to those abducted by ICE. Each state or geographical area has a different org and number, so unless you print blank whistles, you need to ensure that you have the correct info.

You can check it out here: https://linktr.ee/wa.whistles

  • That is a great whistle, but way too much filament and print time compared to the ICE whistles that have been optimized for print speed, noise volume and size for easy carry.

  • The advantage of printed whistles is being able to put the phone number on the whistle. Trying to get a phone number on a bulk whistle is not easy.
