Just Another Person on Lemmy

  • Streaming services and aspect ratios are always an issues. That and what "cut" of the video they got.

  • Oh man, they almost had me depending on camera quality, but how old is that processor?

  • That's always a good recommendation. I'm pretty hard on my gear so I usually buy new to get the most life out of them. My earbuds were pretty worn by the time I washed the case. But I've more than one person say refurbished has worked out great.

  • Those look interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Do those have ANC?

  • How good would you say the ANC is?

  • That took my back. Mpow were my first Bluetooth headphones. Good to know they are still around.

  • Android @lemmy.world

Suggest me some TWS Earbuds with ANC for $160 or less

  • Hmm... I wonder why consumption went up? I noticed mine go up when I switched but that was probably more of a fascination with the new "toy" than anything else.

  • And we need research for any detrimental effects as well. We need to know where the benefit ends and the harm starts.

  • I did the same then found out about dry herb vaping. You should check it out, feel better than concentrates.

  • There would be a long list of people on that class action lawsuit list.

  • For me it's the camera. If the best camera I have is the one with me then the one with me is going to be the best I can buy (within reason) if they could get Samsung or Pixel quality (or iPhone I guess) that would be awesome.

  • Home Improvement @lemmy.world

I apparently don't have a whole house water shut off I can use.

  • I've had issues with the Nexus 6P, Pixel 2, and Pixel 4a. All have had connectivity issues with either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi after 2 years. I assume the antennas that wrap around the outside are getting damaged in my pocket or something else.

  • Yes but will the hardware still work after that time?

  • Oh no at this point I'm just genuinely curious. Does it do notifications? I wonder if it would work well tutanker from Mac OS.

  • 🤓

  • How much tinkering did it take to get it stable? How much ongoing maintenance is needed?

  • This is why I recommend Mint with Cinnamon DE. Same reasons. It's always interesting to see someone come to a different conclusion with the same reasoning. 🙂

  • I highly doubt the PineTime is stable and reliable enough for the mainstream.
