Making the fediverse accessible to all with Quiblr!

  • Thanks for your question! I wanted to bring a more modern UI + add features that I personally wanted while reading scientific papers such as saving bookmarks & creating custom Lists based on specific tags.

  • Hi, dev of Quiblr here. Thanks for all the kind words! I'm glad you've been enjoying Quiblr!

I've haven't had as much time to work on Quiblr lately. It has always been a side-project for me, never a full time gig.

The web platform is in a good stable state and the native app is 90% done. I'd love to finish up the last 10% of the iOS/android app but I know that inevitably that will come with it's own overhead, fixes, etc. once it's live

But all in all, Quiblr isn't going anywhere :)

  • The Hackernews thread on this discusses how this has been known for years and hasn’t been fixed by Google

  • You too!

  • Try Quiblr! It has on-device Lemmy post recs

  • The only right response to this is to play it cool and continue to walk with your flat tire while trying to shove your ankle back into the shoe only for the back of the shoe to fold down.

Then you eventually swallow your pride and you pull over, take off your shoe, and try to reconstruct the shoe back to its former state.

  • Another Friday for the books!

  • Managing communities is currently all on the communities page (or on the right bar in desktop). This should be easier though in the upcoming Quiblr version

  • Cool cool. I‘ve been testing the comment and delete functionality in a new client

  • And another

  • Another test!!!
