This has been there for years. I forgot exactly what the reason was but the banner is part of the self service feature that lets users purchase software on their own instead of billing the org. For some reason the setting to disable this was put in the teams admin center instead of the 365 one causing it to popup for users who'd previously disabled this. Its such an old issue im not sure why this is being written about now. Also majority of the people complaining arent teams customers, they're teams users and the enterprise is the customer. As a microcuck admin this doesnt even make a blip on my radar for bad things. I see this and im like at least its not a full screen pop up.

If you were against harris in 2024 you're pro genocide its really that simple. Arrest every single notable trump cabinet member and media dicksuck. Then investigate everything trump touched and prosecute it all. Investigate all the tech companies. I would need to see multiple CEO level people being put in a jail cell to even begin to regain some trust. They need to regulate their fucking monopolies and enforce some anti trust and clean up their broadcast regulation. It cannot be the case that these people can go online and spread the most insane lies over and over without punishment.

Clarify their position on the world stage and if Trumps actions were contrary to that then they need to diplomatically bridge that gap. Rejoin the climate accords, rejoin nato and apologize to the world.

Then I would be open to eventually re trusting them.

not really, different projects require different things. You want to do a big hire of X skilled professional then when its done you can get rid of them and get they Y skilled professional required for the next project. Thats better than trying to transfer them over.

you think by the end of the year Meta will have 10,000 less employees than it did at the start? I dont think thats likely. They will either increase employee count or slightly reduce due to how cooked the economy is but they will hire back a majority of those 10,000 jobs.

yes but America is not a sane part of the world and its always operated like this. To be surprised this is happening in a country where this is normal is odd. Meta's employee count grows every year(except 1 year after covid)

10,000 fewer jobs means 10,000 fewer jobs

No because the reporting is only on the layoffs they wont cover the hiring that will happen next month. These tech companies dont lay off people then operate with 10,000 less staff. Meta's employee count has increased every year except the year after covid.

These are workers in an industry where these work patterns are common, they make far above average wage and can work from anywhere in the world. Their job mobility is very high so why feel sorry for them? This isnt the same as the only steel mill in town laying off 1000 workers.

What is the actual issue with these layoffs? Why do they always get spammed around and everyone gets mad. Big companies churn employees whats the problem? Do we need to celebrate when they hire 10% back in the next month.

There seems to be some confusion. When I say leftwing policies, I’m referring to liberal democratic policies, universal healthcare, robust public transit, social equity, environmental protections and human rights. You think leftwing means authoritarianism, state violence and the suppression of human rights so I understand why you're upset that Harris doesnt have those policies.
