  • Aren't Aegis a 2fa app? Aurora and F-droid have different use cases? Or can you add F-droid (and other) repos to Aurora?

  • Currently imploding due to internal conflict

  • Completely missed that! No wonder that the post made me think of it then!

  • Totally off topic, but it is interesting to see the shift from Sxan being bombarded with downvotes, no matter the content of the comments. To now getting upvotes and people thinking the thorns are cool/interesting

  • There exists browser plugins for this

  • Both projects are great and very active! I know there has been some challenges with QBZ in Flatpak. There's a guide on it. And also on some GPU/WM combos due to WebKit, Wayland and Nvidia. There are a bunch of settings now for fixing those kind of stuff.

I use the qobuz-player TUI on my home laptop with very limited resources. On my beast work laptop I only run QBZ. Tried both the web player, electron flatpak wrapper and official client in Bottles, but none of those can measure up

  • Also, they have a private API. Minim is a really good API wrapper in Python. The dev branch contains V2 which is currently in alpha

  • If you're running Linux, check out QBZ, or qobuz-player if you prefer terminal. The official client also works pretty well in Bottles, but I like QBZ better than the official one

  • For something easier than man, check out tldr

  • Ruletry

  • This is my trick for everything that needs to get done. Never turn it off before it's done

  • Yeah, FOSS doesn't have the incentive and have different ideological roots

  • Apt feels like one of the faster package managers. dnf is slow, yum is snail speed, zypper is slow as fuck too. Apt and Pacman is by far on the faster side

  • +1 for niri. Installed it on my 11" laptop, and it is as if it's made for that use case

  • That's a nice find, and I agree that it is a cause for concern. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out

Edit: Here's the investors page I think? https://www.garryelevator.com/
